RIGHTS INFRINGED
Have you noticed that our individual right to keep and bear arms is being infringed?
Free men and women own and bear arms. Slaves, the subjected, and serfs, are kept from owing arms by tyrannical governments that fear the people.

Did you know that your rights under the U.S. Constitution are being Infringed?
The text of the 2nd Amendment of your U.S. Constitution says...
"A well-regulated Militia,
being necessary to the security
of a free State,
the right of the people
to keep and bear Arms,
shall not be infringed."
The writers of our constitution felt that the issue of Americans having firearms was so important to the safety of individuals and the nation that the writers purposefully used the word "infringe". To "infringe" means to intrude gradually or stealthily, to encroach upon, interfere with, and trespass upon.
This is exactly what some current politicians are doing when they ban a particular type of gun, or limit the number of bullets a gun can hold, or prohibit folding stocks or flash suppressors. This gradual, incremental series of limitations on firearms is infringing on our 2nd Amendment right, and it is in direct violation of the US constitution they have sworn to uphold.

THE SECOND AMENDMENT
So what does the 2nd Amendment really say? Consider its three parts.
FIRST: "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State,
These first two phrases give the reason for the amendment. Keep in mind that in the 1700s when the 2nd Amendment was penned, if an army was needed, the government could call up common citizens who were expected to bring their own firearms and ammunition. This dispersed, armed citizenry was called the Militia, and the writers of our constitution recognized that this Militia was necessary to assure the security of the free state. The security the Militia provides, even when not called up to fight, extends implicitly from government officials right down to the common shopkeeper or farmer and their families. George Washington's army that defeated the British consisted of individual citizens who answered his call to fight the British. They brought their own weapons.
Don't be fooled by those that say the word Militia means the army or National Guard. You can see how silly that idea is if you consider the following two lines of thought.
1. Why would the army have to have a constitutional amendment saying they have right to bear arms? The army without weapons is not an army. They exist to carry arms, and therefore the army or national guard cannot possibly be the "militia".
2. The 2nd amendment is part of the Bill of individual rights, written to provide protection for individuals against government overreach, or tyranny. Why would our forefathers write the 2nd amendment for the army or National Guard, neither of which is an individual person? One might as well argue that the 1st amendment freedom-of-speech really only applies to large groups of people and organizations, and that you and I do not really have any individual freedom of speech protected by the constitution.
The militia consists of armed citizens, including armed teachers, all across our county. It is controlled by no government agency and is therefore free to act without government permission. This is a fundamental core strength of our republic, and it is the power underwriting the part of our Declaration of Independence that states: "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."
SECOND: "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, "
This second phrase in the 2nd Amendment defines the milita clearly. It is the people, not the army or national guard, that has this right to both KEEP and BEAR arms. It has to be this way, for how else can citizens "throw off" a wicked and tyrannical government that is out of control if they do not possess weapons of equal firepower to what the government itself controls? "Milita" is defined as the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
THIRD: "shall not be infringed."
Some may argue that citizens have no right to keep in their homes or bear (carry) certain types of arms. You must recognize this as infringement, a form of "gradual, stealthy encroachment upon, or interference with, or trespass upon your 2nd amendment rights. When someone says that guns should only have a 5 bullet capacity, this is infringement and is leading to eventual confiscation of all weapons. When laws are passed allowing only a few bullets per gun, the effectiveness of the Militia comes close to zero, and your personal safety, and the safety of your students, is compromised.
Beware the politician or news media that supports limiting the type, characteristics, or function of weapons you may own. Their constant infringement is intended to change free men and women into servants of the state.
"Shall not be infringed" is top-dog law of the land, and violation of this law must be resisted by every American, against those who fuel tyranny, crime, and fear by calling for more and more infringement of your constitutional rights. What can you do about this? Read about the issues and vote against any politician who supports infringement of your rights, or you will lose them.
